Each packet contains 5g of guar gum extract (soluble dietary fiber) and 1g of fructooligosaccharides.
"Guar gum," a water-soluble dietary fiber, is made from "guar beans" grown in dry regions such as India, and is an ingredient with extremely high viscosity. Water-soluble dietary fiber is said to be food for bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria in the body, and works to maintain the internal environment by producing short-chain fatty acids. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the food intake of Japanese people continues to decline, and it is said that people in their 20s to 50s in particular are 2 to 4 grams short of the target value.
Because fructooligosaccharides are difficult to digest, they are not broken down and absorbed as sugar, but instead serve as food for bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria, and they promote the production of butyric acid bacteria, so they can be said to be an oligosaccharide that is compatible with guar gum hydrolysates.
